Couples Weekend Workshop for Interracial Couples

Finding real, lasting love can be a challenge. This 2-day educational couples workshop provides practical tools and insights to strengthen emotional connection and intimacy in your relationship. You will gain powerful techniques to nurture compassion, friendship and romance in your life together.
Facilitated by a married couple Dr. Paula & Yael Certified Imago Workshop Presenters, the workshop creates a safe, supportive environment for couples to explore core issues and transform their partnership.
The workshop focuses on healing past hurts, meeting each other’s needs, and helping you become the partner you want to be. You’ll reignite the spark that initially drew you together and recapture the magic of falling in love. Invest in your partnership and gain insights to grow a deeply connected, fulfilling relationship that stands the test of time.
- Workshop goals:
- To provide you with the opportunity to spend a distraction-free weekend focused on your relationship.
- To provide you with a zone of safety where you can be reflective about wounds of racism, childhood challenges, and social messaging and have a place to metabolize it.
- Demonstrate and practice essential relational skills that will help resolve conflicts and move you to a higher level of functioning as a couple.
- Validate your conflicts and frustrations as predictable and even necessary aspects of a committed partnership.
- Learn how to communicate in a way that creates emotional safety and allow you both to feel seen and heard.
- Created vision of what your ideal relationship will look like and knowledge of the tools necessary to take you on the journey to a safe and passionate marriage or partnership.

- This workshop is right for you if:
- You want enrich / deepen a good relationship.
- It’s early in your relationship and you want to establish solid foundations and healthy communication patterns.
- If your long term relationship is lacking energy, passion, and a sense of safety and connection.
- If your relationship is near death and you want to see if it can be saved.
Group sharing is not a requirement. Most of us have not been exposed to a group at its best. This weekend can be an experience of that.
The weekend consists of mini-educational lectures, demonstrations, guided meditations, videos, and lively discussions in a group setting.
Private couple communication and practicing the new skills will happens between you and your partner.
This is an educational workshop, not therapy or group therapy. However the experiences and learning results are comparable to 6 months of weekly therapy.
